About our team

A man and woman stand on a wooden dock during sunset. The man is wearing a checked shirt, jeans, glasses, and a cap that says "Blackser". The woman is wearing a dark dress with a beige belt, and tan sandals. They are smiling at the camera with water and a colorful sunset sky in the background.
Dr. Kay and her husband are Anderson County natives who saw a need in the community for bringing euthanasia services to beloved family members in the comfort of their own home at an affordable price. Dr. Kay is a Clemson University alumni for undergrad and attended vet school at Mississippi State University. They have 4 dogs Spike, Rose, Ki, and Chicken nugget as well as 4 cats Twix, Texas, Coal, and Luna. Having recently lost several beloved pets and electing at-home euthanasia for their final moments, they have first hand experience the comfort it can provide for your loved ones. Not having to transport them in a vehicle they may not like to be in to a facility that is foreign to them drives Dr. Kay and her husband to share this experience with their community.
